Last updated 9 September 2026. Effective on the first public release of Farhop 1.0.
These terms are a contract between you and LEGAL ENTITY ("Farhop", "we"). By using the Farhop app you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the app.
Farhop is an iOS app for recording the places you have travelled and seeing them on a map. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a navigation app, and nothing in it should be relied on for navigation, safety, border, visa, or legal purposes.
You need an account, created with Sign in with Apple. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying Pro.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@farhopapp.com if you believe someone else is using it.
The trips, place names and photographs you put into Farhop are yours. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us only the narrow licence we need to run the service for you: to store your travel data on our servers, sync it between your devices, and display it back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
Your photographs are not uploaded to our servers at all (see the Privacy Policy, section 2.3), so this licence does not extend to them.
Farhop is free to use. Pro currently adds: cities as a density map, the spinnable globe, every country broken into its regions, photo import beyond three countries, and customising your share cards. The current list is always on the Pro screen in the app.
| Plan | Price | Term |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $4.99 | Renews every month |
| Yearly | $24.99 | Renews every year, after a 7-day free trial |
| Forever | $59.99 | One payment, no renewal |
Prices are in US dollars; your local price and taxes are set by the App Store and shown to you before you buy.
Automatic renewal. Monthly and Yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
Free trial. Yearly includes 7 days free for first-time subscribers. Apple decides eligibility, and the app only offers the trial if you qualify. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid year. If you switch to another plan during the trial, the remaining free days are forfeited.
Managing and cancelling. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings, not by us. Open Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If you buy Forever while you have a subscription, cancel the subscription yourself; Apple does not do it for you.
Pro belongs to your Apple Account, not to your Farhop account. If you sign in to Farhop with a different Apple Account, your purchase does not follow you.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Changes to Pro. We may add to Pro at any time. We may also change what Pro includes or what it costs, but only for a good reason (a feature that no longer works, costs more to run than it earns, or has been replaced by something better), and we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Existing subscribers keep their price until they cancel. If a change takes away something you paid for and you do not want to continue, cancel and tell us, and we will ask Apple to refund the unused part of your current period.
Forever means for as long as Farhop exists. It is one payment for Pro on your Apple Account for the life of the app; it is not a promise that we will run Farhop for ever. If we remove something from Pro that was there when you bought Forever, we will tell you first, and if that matters to you, ask Apple to refund you. If we shut Farhop down, you get the notice and export described in section 6.
Do not: break the law with the app; try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the app or our servers; use automated means to extract data from the service; impersonate anyone; or upload content you have no right to use.
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.
We try to keep Farhop working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Your data is stored on your own device as well as our servers, so a service outage does not mean your travel history is gone.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Farhop is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app's place names, dates, country determinations, or counts are accurate. It is a record you keep for yourself, not a system of record.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, the law says digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and these terms do not take that away.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care, and for nothing else. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, or for business losses; Farhop is for personal use.
Where the law lets us limit our liability but not exclude it, our total liability to you for everything arising out of Farhop is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Farhop in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in sections 7 and 8.
You may stop using Farhop and delete your account at any time, from inside the app.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. We will tell you why, and you can reply to hello@farhopapp.com. If we do, and you have paid for an unused subscription period, we will ask Apple to refund it unless the breach was serious.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Farhop or for supporting it. Your licence to install and run the app itself is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. If Farhop fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Any other claim about Farhop, including product liability, consumer protection, privacy and intellectual property claims, is our responsibility, not Apple's. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not want the new terms, delete your account before they take effect; if you have paid for time you have not used, we will ask Apple to refund it. Continuing to use Farhop after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of JURISDICTION, and disputes go to the courts of JURISDICTION. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
